Being eccentric is kind of freeing in a way, because no one quite knows what to expect from you! Hell, sometimes even I don't know what to expect from me, and that's what makes life so bloody interesting. We all could be alike, act alike, mock what other people say, dress the same, use similar speech patterns, mimic others accents, fashion our daily habits after someone else, go to the same social events, and then what kind of person have we become? I dare say, that eccentric people just "ARE" who they say they are, and when we step out of our real persona and "ACT" like others act, we have sold out our true selves. Our identity no longer matters. We simply exist to please others! What a waste of our Creator's time, to have molded us so exquisitely different, and we dare to make a mockery of that by behaving as we are told to, or are expected to! Dare to BE EXACTLY WHO YOU ARE. Embrace yourself lovingly, and the WORLD will dare to embrace you back. Join us in our crusade for claiming our right to be just as Eccentric as we really are!
Do not misunderstand me here, by thinking that I'm suggesting that you all become rebellious anti-community minded citizens of these great United States! This is on a far deeper, personal level of learning how to be true to your 'heartfelt self' than anything else.
If you like living alone, then don't be ashamed of that. If you like being an introvert, then don't be ashamed of that either. If you like another member of the same sex, then don't be ashamed of of your preference. If you are in love with someone older or younger than you, then don't be ashamed of that. Its all about losing your shame and embarrassment for WHO and WHAT you are, learning to love yourself as you are, respecting your soul, and for God's sake, live every day to its fullest!
